LOES Shines at UIL

Lone Oak Elementary students delivered an outstanding performance at this year’s UIL Academic Meet, earning 2nd place overall among competing schools. From team events to individual contests, LOES students in grades 2–5 showcased their academic strengths, creativity, and confidence across a wide range of subjects. This success reflects not only the hard work of our students, but also the dedication of the teachers and staff who support UIL year after year.

A Special Moment to Celebrate

Several of our Oral Reading participants recently shared their talents at the Lone Oak ISD Board Meeting, and their performances were nothing short of incredible. Attendees were captivated by the students’ confidence, expression, and enthusiasm—and many left the meeting smiling and laughing at the stories brought to life by these young readers.

Before leaving for Christmas break, students celebrated their accomplishments with a medal and ribbon ceremony followed by cookie decorating, a well-earned reward for their commitment and effort. Lone Oak ISD is incredibly proud of our UIL participants and deeply thankful for the teachers and staff members who invest countless hours preparing students for success.
